Since 2007, Drupal has become an indispensable part of my toolkit for supporting higher education teaching and research in a wide variety of disciplines. As Drupal grows in popularity at universities, it seems increasingly important to write up descriptions of how I've built the (largely academic) sites I've made, along with general tutorials and the pedagogical materials I'm developing to teach non-programmer library, IT, and ed tech staff how to think through implementing common types of faculty projects in Drupal. If these posts will save someone the hours I've spent scouring documentation and trying and failing while working on faculty projects, the time writing them up will be worth it.

(Jan 27, 2012: Exciting news! Elijah Meeks and I are co-authoring a book on "Drupal for Humanists". Check out the blog post and give us some feedback.)
