If your students are going to be working on a new project that you're trying to get off the ground, rather than contributing to an existing project, you need to think through the standard set of questions for new digital humanities projects. You may need less funding than you would have to ask for otherwise, if students can work on a project as part of a class assignment, instead of you having to pay an assistant to do it.
